Central Stories Museum and Art Gallery is planning for the future — and we want to hear from you.
Our draft 20 Year Strategic Plan (2026–2045) is now out for community consultation. This plan sets out our vision and aspirations for the next two decades, covering everything from how we tell the stories of Alexandra and Central Otago, to our displays and visitor experience, our relationships with Tangata Whenua, our collections and archives, and the long-term sustainability of your museum and art gallery.
We believe Central Stories belongs to this community — and that means the community should help shape its future.
We’d love your thoughts on:
- What you value most about Central Stories
- How we can improve your experience as a visitor
- How we tell the stories of all our people — past and present
- What you’d like to see over the next 20 years
Taking part is easy. Follow the link below to complete a short survey — it only takes a few minutes.
