Featured Soloists

Ralph Miller – A very versatile trumpeter who not only leads the DSO’s trumpet section, but also plays jazz, blues, reggae, musical theatre shows, and at the Anzac dawn services. Miller is principal trumpet with the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra and lead with the Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra. He will perform stunning trumpet concertos by Neruda and Albinoni.

Jacqui Hopkins – DSO player and CORO’s own accomplished bassoonist, will showcase her artistry with the strings orchestra.

The programme also features the Brandenburg strings dectet and acclaimed pianist/keyboardist Sherry Shelton, promising a diverse and captivating musical journey.
