Echo- an art exhibition

What magic to stand in a valley, call to the mountains and to receive an answer back. Echoes exist in particular atmospheres with particular surface alignments. In this show at the Heafey Gallery, Central Stories, Odelle Morshuis and Jillian Porteous show us the echo of years of friendship, a love of contemporary process, and thinking about art practice. But it is the landscape and culture of Central Otago that most deeply ties their work together. ‘Echo’ has come together in another creative act. Both Jillian and Odelle have curated many shows together. With the artist as curator subtle relationships can come forward providing a dynamic show of wonderful work.
