Featured Artists
Lucca Ballara – Vocalist
A versatile vocalist originally from Greenwich Borough, England, Lucca brings extensive musical theatre experience to the stage. Currently in his third year at the University of Canterbury’s Bachelor of Music program, he holds an ATCL Diploma in Musical Theatre and Grade 8 in Classical Singing. His recent achievements include leading roles in productions such as “Dear Evan Hansen” and training at the prestigious SOLE Music Academy.
Kyle Hsieh – Piano/Percussion
Originally from Taiwan, Kyle is an accomplished pianist, percussionist, and composer currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music in Performance and Composition at the University of Canterbury. His diverse musical background includes national-level percussion competitions in Taiwan and achievements as a pianist and bandleader in New Zealand.
Rakuto Kurano – Violin/Piano
A distinguished Japanese/New Zealand musician described as performing with “flair and panache” by the Christchurch Mail, Rakuto is an extraordinarily versatile performer. His impressive career includes performances with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, NZ Opera, and The Court Theatre. Currently serving as Artist-in-Residence at the Aspiring Lifestyle Village in Wānaka and Artistic Director of the Magic Carpet Music Trust, Rakuto brings exceptional talent and experience to this performance.
